What the Club Has Been Up To

Wildfowler's Bobby Walters has been welcomed into the Eagle Court of Honor. On April 29, 2012, Bobby became an Eagle Scout, Troop 80 Longhouse Council Boy Scouts of America.  Great job, Bobby.  We are very proud of all that you have done! 

 

On Sunday, September 9, 2012, the Wildfowlers Association had their annual end-of-summer party and sporting clays shoot.  We had over 20 shooters, including five youth shooters.  They also enjoyed a great BBQ at Jack Waldron's house afterwards.  (See Summer 2012 Shoot & Party page for photos.)

 

The Wildfowlers built 51 wood duck boxes and 54 bluebird houses on Saturday, December 22, 2012, for sale at the upcoming sport shows in January and February 2013.  A special thanks to Micky Novak for the use of his wood shop.  Also, thanks to the following Wildfowlers:  Jack Waldron, Doug and Matt Carr, Jon Paninski, Bruce Mellon, Joe Oneill, George Lane, Ron Jardin, and Dave Tidaback.

 

The Wildfowlers participated in the New York Sportsman's Expo on January 25 through January 27, 2013, at the New York State Fairgounds Exhibit Center as well as the CNY Sportsman Show on February  2, 2013, at Oneida Kallet Civic Center in Oneida.

 

On Saturday, 2/23/13, the Wildfowlers again participated in the Black Duck banding project on Cayuga Lake. 

 

The 51st Annual Banquet  was held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Empire Room at the New York State Fairgrounds; there were over 300 people in attendance.
