Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28, 2018 - The Wildfowlers had a booth at the Sportsman's Expo, New York State Fairgrounds.  Pictured left to right:  Micky Novak (and his lab, Roxie), Jack Waldron, and Patrick Hart at our booth:
The Wildfowlers welcome Bill Killam, Tony Castrello, Steve Salamone, Jared Vidler, Joseph Gilam, Craig Rosen, John Olmstead, and Cody Atkinson as new members who signed up at the Show.
 
 

The Wildfowlers had a booth at the CNY Sportsman’s Expo, held Jan. 27 – 29, 2017, at the NYS Fairgrounds, Tractor Supply Co. Exhibit Center/Dairy Cattle Building, in Syracuse, New York.  (Show hours: Fri. noon to 7:00 p.m., Sat. 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sun. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)  Thanks to the following Wildfowler members who put in long hours at the Wildfowler booth during that weekend:  George Lane, Bob Gang, Doug Wicks, Doug Carr, Matt Carr, Micky Novak, Jack Waldron, Patrick Hart, Connor Shay, Jon Paninski, John Fraser, Conall Fraser, and Bella (Micky's black lab). 

 

  

 

January 21, 2017 - We gathered to build wood duck boxes at Micky Novak's workshop.

The annual CNY Wildfowlers sporting clays shoot and summer party was held on Sunday, August 28, 2016.  The shoot was at the Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  The party followed at Jack Waldron's home on Lamson Road in Phoenix, NY.

BANQUET The Wildfowlers Association of Central New York held their 54th Annual Banquet Pheasant Dinner on Wednesday, April 27, 2016at Traditions at the Links (5900 North Burdick Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057). 

 

The winner of the Winchester shotgun, Fran Lightenfield, is pictured with Patrick Hayes, who picked the winning ticket.  Patrick's father, Bill, is congratulating Dave Montray (on right), who won the 50-50 raffle.  Dave also gave half of his $680 winnings back to the Wildfowlers.  Thanks, Dave!

  

Also, thanks to Tom Lenweaver (programs), Terry Ramsey (invocation and auctioneer), Tom Schneider and Bill Hayes (MC), Patrick Hayes (picking the winning tickets), John, Ben, and Ethan (prizes and auction items), and Rick Capozza (for all he does for the Wildfowlers).

Also, thanks to George Lane, Jack Waldron, Dave Porter, Doug Carr, Matt Carr, Patrick Hart, Connor Shay, Jon Paninski, and Fran Falkowski, and to all of our guides who donate their time and fishing trips and hunts.  Thanks to our decoy carvers, Bill Moore and Dan Appel.  Thanks to Lou Intondi (who does the background check on our gun winners), to all of our sponsors who donate to us year after year, to Micky Novak for providing us a work shop to build all our duck box projects, and to Traditions at the Links for preparing such a great pheasant dinner.

Wildfowlers had a booth at the New York Sportsman ExpoNew York State Fairgrounds (1/29/16 through 1/31/16).  Thanks for their time and help to Wildfowler members Micky Novak, Jack Waldron, Matt Carr, Doug Carr, Bill and Patrick Hayes, John Fraser and his boys, Ethan and Conall, Jon Paninski, Dick Contos, Dave Porter, Doug Wicks, Connor Shay, Patrick Hart and George Lane. 

 

The Wildfowlers had their annual wood duck box building day at Micky Novak's woodshop on Saturday, 1/16/16.

 

Thanks to George Lane, Bill Hayes, Larry Duckett, John Fraser, Jim Middleton, George Wilson, Mark Berger, Trevor Heath, Dick Contos, Dave Porter, Doug Carr, Jack Waldron, and Micky Novak.  Special thanks to Micky and Jack for all their prior preparation to make the event run smoothly.

 

In all, the Wildfowlers built 100 duck boxes and blue bird houses and also 50 bat houses.

  

 

Annual Sporting Clays Shoot & Summer Party took place on Sunday, 8/23/15. The shoot was at Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club, followed by the party at Jack Waldron's home.

On Saturday, September 27, 2014the CNY Wildfowlers held their annual youth pheasant hunt in Oswego County.  The young hunters who participated and had a successful hunt were Marco Palumbo, Robert Fredricks, Luke Francisco, and Ethan Fraser.

August 18, 2013 - Annual sporting clays shoot and summer partyThe CNY Wildfowlers annual sporting clays shoot and summer party was held on Sunday, August 18; shooting began at 9:00 a.m. at the Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club. The party followed at Jack Waldron's home in Phoenix at 12:30 p.m.

 

 

On Sunday, September 9, 2012, the Wildfowlers Association had their annual end-of-summer party and sporting clays shoot.  We had over 20 shooters, including five youth shooters, at Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club.  They also enjoyed a great BBQ at Jack Waldron's house afterwards. 

 

Wildfowler's Bobby Walters has been welcomed into the Eagle Court of Honor. On April 29, 2012Bobby became an Eagle Scout, Troop 80 Longhouse Council Boy Scouts of America.  Great job, Bobby.  We are very proud of all that you have done!
